As we remember Jesus’ birth, the incarnation of the Son of God and our Savior, we wish His blessings to come upon you and His presence to guide you! He came to seek and save the lost by giving His life for our salvation. We have the reason to sing praises and we have the Good news to proclaim because He loved us so much! What more He could do for all of us? Jesus is our greatest and most real hope!

We also thank you for your prayers and support of Moldova for Christ Ministry as we proclaim Jesus mighty works and see Him move with power in Moldova. With your participation our teams lead dozens of Christmas concerts, Children’s programs, evangelistic receptions, movie shows, social events, public school programs throughout Moldova and God is bringing hundreds of new people that hear the Gospel of hope at these events. To the Christmas concert at Cupcini church God brought twice as many people than we have seats in the the sanctuary and we had all time record number of people in our building. People are saved every day and enlisted for the baptism because Jesus is saving people from their sins even today!

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

We saw people with many physical needs at the clinic and helped them with what God gave us. Some people came with very high blood pressure; others with high blood sugar. Some were recovering from surgeries; others were getting ready for surgery. Some with allergy problems; some with sick children and many with other health problems. It reminded us of the words of our Lord Jesus Christ that said the sick need the doctor, not the healthy. And we were glad to help many with their problems and struggles.

A lady that came to the clinic told us that she was waiting for our clinic since last year. Another person was amazed how well patients are treated. She has never received such attention at any other local hospitals.

We thank God for the passion for sharing the Gospel He gave our brothers and sisters, and for the brothers and sisters from First Baptist Church in Jackson, MS that worked day and night to make this project a blessing to everyone else. With their help and participation we were able to help over two hundred sixty patients.

The Cupcini team won the game, which was expected to some degree, since they have been playing baseball for five years and the Balti team is just starting.

Our Sports Ministry offers a great opportunity to build new friendships, get involved in the lives of people who do not know Christ and helps with physical conditioning. Also, it is good training experience in learning cooperation with others while achieving a goal, and training people to sacrifice their interest for a team’s success. It is a great asset for young people as they become missionaries, ministers, Christian leaders and promoters of God’s Kingdom on the earth.

We were very glad to see parents of some young players and people that simply came to support both teams in this tournament. God gave us a perfect opportunity to witness to these people. We were able to share with them about God’s work in our lives and in the lives of those that came to know Him when they came to baseball clinics and camps.

We thank God for the people that, in spite of the fact that they never attend any church, came to the event and were touched by the Word of God. They saw their friends and relatives that love the Lord, follow Him on the “narrow path” and live under the direction of Jesus Christ.

Our Lord can use many means to reach out to the unsaved, whether it be door-to-door ministering, crusades, puppet shows or sports events. He remains faithful to those who choose to follow Him no matter the venue.

God is at work in Chisinau Logos Christian Church. Proclaiming the Gospel by conducting Bible studies, children’s programs, Puppet shows, orphanage work and through church planting, six people recently joined the church through water baptism.  Everyone celebrated in this joyous occasion, when we saw the results of the work from our brothers and sisters serving our Lord there.

“It is a special day for us as a church and for these new brothers and sisters that are following our Lord’s command and getting baptized today. It is a very special day for every one of them, a day they were looking toward and prayed for. We need to have this kind of celebrations more often, at least each Sunday,” – Pastor of Logos Christian Church, Vasile Rusnac said.

Two people that were baptized, Nina and Tatiana, came from the city of Comrat, where a new church plant is underway. It is a city in Southern Moldova with a predominately Turkish population. God put His light in that city through a congregation committed to studying and proclaiming His Word.

Ivan is from Chisinau and was also baptized. He heard of the Lord from his wife who was saved and baptized last year. Since then he started attending our church, and just one year later made the decision to follow Christ.
Artyom and John are orphans that heard about Jesus from our people who worked in their school and invited them to attend the church and our Summer English Camp. One day John came to the church and said, “Pastor, I want to repent and to trust Jesus with all my heart and to follow Him.”  We prayed with him and he trusted Jesus for his salvation.

Artyom trusted Jesus when we were talking with him in our van about his life. He said he wants to believe in Christ and follow Him in water baptism.

Eudokia was saved when our youth went door-to-door visiting people in the village of Tirnova, in Northern Moldova. Bible study groups were started and new people were introduced to Jesus.  Eudokia has six small children. Her whole family, including her husband, started visiting our church regularly.  She became part of our church body and is ready to serve the Lord.

After the baptism we had an hour of fellowship and celebration.  Everybody personally congratulated the new church members and got to know them better.  We are looking forward to see how God will use these brothers and sisters as they serve Him by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to others!

After months of preparation, prayer, leadership trainings, and a lot of work, the day to start Cupcini Creation Camp 2011 arrived! We came to church early in the morning where the camp was taking place. In previous camps we had from twenty four to three hundred sixty people participate, but we did not know how many to expect this year. Our prayer was that the Lord would bring exactly the ones He wants to see in the camp.

As we were getting ready for the first day, children and young people began gathering at the church early. Five hours before the time to start we already had over twenty registered. In two more hours this number doubled and we had close to fifty. People were coming from all parts of Moldova. Some traveled up to four hundred kilometers, changing buses several times. The final number was over one hundred and eighty, with over one hundred being unbelievers. We prayed that the Lord would touch their hearts and they will trust Jesus for their salvation, becoming His followers. The Lord transformed so many hearts and restored so many lives.

This year we taught another Precept study in English – “Digging Up The Past”, which is a study from the book of Genesis: Chapters 3-11. Our leaders worked hand to hand with Sanibel Community Church from Sanibel, FL. Their team of leaders helped us with teaching English, testimonies, drama, worship music, crafts and other things.

Worship time during the morning and evening chapels had a great impact on everyone. They invited new friends every day. Another attraction was the opportunity to learn and improve their English through songs and studies in the English language. God used all of that to bring new children into His family. We saw many come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ: children, young people, parents, grandparents, people that came to participate in the camp and people that just stopped by.

We praise God for the mighty way He moved in the hearts of many people. During the entire week, the whole city of Cupcini was talking about the camp. Brothers and sisters from a number of churches were mobilized and united in love and service. We had more people showing up to help than we had work for. Just at the church’s kitchen we had over thirty volunteers.

Once again we saw the power of God in such a clear manifestation as hearts were changed and turned to Him.

On Thursday, February 10th, we were invited to teach a lecture on the topic “Creation or Evolution? What does science confirm?” in the “Sofia Kovalevskaya” lyceum, in Cupcini.

The presentation was taught by Svetlana Sanduleac. Students of the twelfth grade attended the lesson. The lecture was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, contrary to the view that ‘young people do not want to listen’. The students listened and reflected on the provided information. Despite the fact that there are are many parts to this debate, we talked only about three:

1) Origin of the Universe. Evolution (Big Bang): “About 13-15 billion years ago, a burning point occurred…”. Where did the matter that formed this point come from? Where did the space for the point come from? Where did the energy for the explosion come from? Remember, evolution teaches that there is no supernatural, there are no miracles, there is no God. However, can we call it  natural process when ‘something comes from nothing’ ? Some evolutionists honestly admit that they have a theory without a beginning.

2) Origin of life. The chance for a random occurrence of single living cells is 1 in 10 to the 40 000th power. For scientists, that is almost impossible. This supports Romans 1:20: For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

3) Observed changes in living organisms do not prove evolution from a protozoa to man, on the contrary, the evidence leads to a deterioration of the genes from generation to generation.
Natural selection of genetic information leads to loss of genetic diversity. Mutations are mistakes in the process of copying information from generation to generation, and they is occurring to the detriment of a biological organism. Mutations can not lead to an increase of information and functional complexity.

At the end of the lesson, we concluded that natural selection and mutation do not add information necessary for the emergence of more complex organisms. We hope and plan to do more lessons of this type in schools, so please pray for God to give us the opportunity to do so.

… although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. - Philippians 2:6-11

Let us bow before the Jesus Christ and confess Him Lord! He is worthy!
